Joshua Thomas, a $10,000 scholarship recipient, is a graduating senior criminal justice major at Jackson State University. He is from Long Beach, California. Throughout his tenure at JSU, he's consistently made the dean's or principal's list, earning a cumulative GPA of 3.9. He is also a Spring ‘25 initiate of the Alpha Beta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. His hobbies include origami, bowling, and collecting fragrances.

Chanston Joshua "CJ" Ford is a senior at Jackson State University, majoring in Marine Science with a minor in Environmental Science. He is a baritone player in the Sonic Boom of the South and is set to graduate in December 2024. Afterward, CJ plans to gain experience at an Aquatics Institution before pursuing veterinary school. CJ is the son of Jimmy and Carolyn Ford, the grandson of Bobby and Louise Ford and Joe and Louis Taylor, and has two siblings, Kaitlyn and Isaiah, along with a pet dog named Cookie.
Miracle Bloom is an inspiring senior at Jackson State University, majoring in healthcare administration. We're proud to award her $8,500 this year!
