We are excited for the opportunity to assist you in reducing your student loan debt as you continue your education. Each year, we award a scholarship based on the earnings from the Endowment Fund.  This year, we are awarding $16,500 to two deserving students.   One scholarship will total $10,000 and the otner 6,500! Please read the following instructions before beginning the application process.  

• Minimum Qualifications:

• Students must presently attend or be accepted to Jackson State University in Jackson, MS in the fall of 2025

• Minimum of 2.5 gpa 

• Must have outstanding student loan debt or will incur student loan debt in the 2025/2026 school year

All applications must be received by midnight central time on June 8, 2025. 

The following documents are required for ALL applicants.

• High school or College Transcript

• Student Identification Number

• Student loan statement showing outstanding debt and legal name

• FASFA statement

Additional documentation may be required upon approval.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
