2024 Scholarship Application

The 2024 Deanes Pencil Fund Application is now live.  

We are awarding a $8,500 scholarship!

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm CST on May 31, 2024. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen

• Students must be presently attending or accepted to Jackson State University in Jackson, MS in the fall of 2024

• Students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree

• Minimum of 2.5 GPA

• Must have outstanding student loan debt or will incur student loan debt in the 2024/2025 school year

The following documents are required for ALL applicants.

• High School or College Transcript

• Resume

• Student loan statement showing outstanding debt and legal name

• FASFA statement detailing award by loans, grants, scholarships, etc.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Additional documentation may be required upon approval.
